Physiotherapy

Welcome to Robyn VN Physiotherapy.  I offer appointments for you or your pets (including working animals) at your home.  A full assessment will be completed leading to a treatment and management plan to help get you or your animal back to the things you enjoy.  Not only help with new injuries but also longer-term problems and post-op management.  I can even support you to improve your performance, whether in sport, or simply managing your day to day tasks.

An important part of life, is being able to do what you need to and what you love, that is why physio can be beneficial.  During the process, I will work with you to help reduce your pain, manage your symptoms, improve your mobility, flexibility, strength and control, allowing you to get back to being you.

Appointments will be tailor made, so please let me know if there is anything specific you need!

About Me

I started my career at Cardiff University in 2008, after completing my BSc(Hons) in physiotherapy I worked for different organisations, including the NHS, private physiotherapy companies and even as a physio in the Alps during the ski season.  After working in a number of areas, including neurology, respiratory, burns and plastics, paediatrics, A&E and elderly care, I eventually specialised in musculoskeletal disorders and injuries.  However, I still use my experience in these fields to help manage all kinds of conditions.

In 2017, I decided to expand my working life to include animals, by starting my MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Liverpool University.  Since then I have been treating both humans and animals to help alleviate their pain, improve their performance and manage their symptoms.  I have a passion for performance and sport in both human and animal spheres, but the best part of my job is being able to help anyone, from complex needs to a simple strain.
